the capital needs of Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina (GIENC)
- Provided
325,000 square feet of employment, training, rehabilitation and administrative
space where GIENC served over 76,650 perople throughout eastern North
Carolina and worldwide. Provided web sites for GCF Global Learning,
serving over 76,200 people worldwide. Total Program Costs were $1,698,909. Giving of articles - Donated items that enabled 443 persons with disabilities and disadvantaging conditions to work over 480,000 hours at an average hourly wage and benefits of $16.32 through GIENC. Provided 132 donated computers to tax-exempt organizations other than GIENC - local and international organizations. Total Program Costs were $20,188,408. Donations and related costs to other not for profits in North America - On site consulting, support and development of programs and program relationships for people throughout eastern North Carolina. Donations included those to Carolina Canines and Lower Cape Fear Hospice. Total Program Costs were $217,995. Donations and related costs to other not for profits outside North America - On site consulting, support and development of programs and program relationships for people throughout South America and Africa and world wide through GCF Global Learning. Donations included ABE Development in South Africa, New Life Mission in Zambia, REMAR in Mozambique and IDEAL and the YMCA in Columbia. Total Program Costs were $440,700. Advertising and administrative fees - A total of $697,009 was spent on advertising and administrative costs totaled $231,373. |
